Our return prevention philosophy

To make sure that our products will be a good fit for your skin, please order a Trial Kit or sample first.

Using the products for a few weeks should give you an idea of how well our products work for you before ordering a full size.

The Trial Kit lasts about 3 weeks and comes with a free $25 gift card to use toward full size products, so it's really the perfect way to get started.

Why we avoid returns

Integrity and quality are core values to us. We'd never resell a used product, so if we encouraged returns, our prices would have to be much higher to account for that loss, plus the cost of return shipping.

But that's not all — returns are costly for our planet, too. The extra packaging and emissions of shipping products back, plus the discarded products that can't be resold, are wasted resources.

So please, try Activist today! We make it so easy to sample us and avoid buyers remorse.

Our full return & refund policy

  • Full size skincare items

    Only unopened, unused, full-size products in original condition are eligible for return and will receive a refund, less our shipping costs each way, which vary by order, and a 15% restocking fee. Please contact us for a return shipping label.

    We cannot accept returns for general dissatisfaction, allergic reactions, etc., so please try a sample first.

    Once a product is opened or used, it is not eligible for return. We encourage you to give any unwanted products to a friend to help minimize waste.

  • Other items / brands

    Samples and Trial Kits are not eligible for return or refund unless missing or damaged, in which case we'll replace the item.

    Other brands' products including sunscreen (which is from Avasol), makeup, accessories, and other items from brands besides Activist Skincare that are sold on our website are not eligible for return.

    However, if any item you received is damaged or defective, please contact us so we can help.

  • Subscriptions

    Subscription orders cannot be cancelled after they are processed because they enter the shipping queue immediately.

    You will receive an email and/or text before each order processes. You can change, skip, reschedule or cancel your order anytime in your subscription account.
