If a product is missing, damaged or the wrong item, please contact us and we'll send a replacement or a refund. We are always happy to help!
We encourage you to try a sample first
To make sure that our products will be a good fit for your skin, please order a Trial & Travel Kit, an individual sample, or sunscreen sample first.
Using the products for a few weeks should give you an idea of how well our products work for you before ordering a full size.
Return policy
Activist Skincare is an indie brand making artisanal products in small batches to the highest standards, including doing our part to reduce waste. Additionally, our processing and fulfillment costs are significant (around 15-20% of every order). That's why we cannot offer the same return policies as large retailers.
Instead, we make it easy for you to try our products before you order a full size.
- Only unopened, unused, full-size products in original condition are eligible for return and will receive a refund, less our shipping costs each way, which vary by order, and a 15% restocking fee. Please contact us for a return shipping label. We cannot accept returns for general dissatisfaction, allergic reactions, or products not suiting your skin, so please try a sample first. Once a product is opened or used, it is not eligible for return. We encourage you to give any unwanted products to a friend to help minimize waste.
- Samples and Trial Kits are not eligible for return or refund unless missing or damaged, in which case we'll replace the item.
- Refill Subscription orders cannot be cancelled after they are processed. You will receive email and text notifications three days before each Refill Subscription order processes to allow time for you to change, skip, reschedule or cancel your order as needed. Please add hello@activistskincare.com to your contacts to ensure you receive our emails and they do not go to your spam folder.
- Other brands' products including sunscreen (which is from Avasol), makeup, accessories, and other items from brands besides Activist Skincare that are sold on our website are not eligible for return. If an item you received is damaged or defective, please contact us so we can help.
